Kres Jesu Krist / Cornwall Church Health was set up by Eleanor Burne-Jones in 2007 as a network providing resources that would help, develop and support people in a range of ways through the transitions the churches in the UK presently face. A range of workshops, seminars, courses and networking opportunities are offered, including mission, spiritual accompaniment, conflict transformation, church planting, church health, and facilitating and pioneering new and fresh expressions of church. Cornwall Fresh Expressions Network, a learning community linked to the main Fresh Expressions network developed from this and now has a life of it's own, (and will hopefully shortly have its own web site.)
Eleanor returned to Christian faith in 2003/4. She is a theology student, a soldier in the Salvation Army, and active in a range of areas including spiritual direction, church conflict mediation, and church planting. Her background includes house churches and intentional community. She lives in Penzance with her two younger children.
CCH is guided by an ecumenical team. We aim to be able to work both with those in inherited churches, and those not linked to denominations but within a Trinitarian Christian faith.
